There are several things to consider when you are choosing a website provider. Most providers and designers include search engine optimization, shopping carts, forms, email integration, social media integration, site analytics, appointment request forms, and more. The main question is how far you want to go in customizing the site to reflect your unique brand and whether or not you prefer to "rent" or "own". A "rental" site is one that charges a monthly subscription fee for as long as you maintain the site. Conversely, the "own" site is a one time setup fee for your own custom design. Start up costs are higher on the "own" option but expenses are lower over the long run. Subscription-based sites with templates are less expensive initially but could be more expensive in the long run depending on how long you keep your site.
